Background.
It’s recon field work. Here I’m presented with a man supposedly of unsound mind. Off-camera, he is orienting towards me. watching his body language & actions, I made a decision of action. The adrenaline surge is overwhelming.
Video Breakdown For Your Benefit
The encounter in this video isn’t via physical fighting. It’s primarily via pre-fight activities on my part & one the part of the boisterous man that are highlighted in the caption. In the end, a physical fight wasn’t necessary because we engaged via body language, energy & physical movements on my part (of which aren’t visible on camera).
What is visible (on camera) in the end of our encounter is the man giving me his back… generally, in the world of fighting, that’s an individual’s language of yielding/submitting. Had I attacked him physically at this point (with his back turned to me), I would then become the aggressor (It’s no longer self-defense).
