Jamaica (onshore & offshore) does have Natural Gas & Oil. The firewater in Windsor, St. Ann is a popular example of a natural gas seep. Whether or not Jamaica can extract the JIS media (2021), reported 2.4 billion barrels, is yet to be known concretely. What is for certain is that field findings such as this serve as an incentive for further onshore-offshore exploratory work (geologic, seismologic, geochemical).
