Hurricane Melissa Threatening Jamaica & Other Caribbean Countries–Keep Active
At the time of this blog post being drafted, Hurricane Melissa was approximately less than 36 hours to making landfall in Jamaica. As I listened to the weather and emergency authorities communicate their forecasts of rainfall, flooding, dangerous storm surges & mandatory evacuations of communities to name a few (in Jamaica), my mind couldn’t move away from thinking about the many individuals who are in a heightened state of anxiety: the highly likely disconnect from the digital world due to utilities and telecommunications disconnect; and the highly likely physical disconnect because of some communities being marooned due to flooded, and/or blocked pathways (landslides and other debris). I also would think about the many individuals likely to be thinking about how they’ll rebuild after Hurricane Melissa’s passing-over.
Then, I began to think:
“How can I help those same individuals cope & rebuild?”
And then, I was led:
Share Physical Activity/Workouts people can do for 7 days.
So here it is.
