Did you know that in addition to the magnitude 5+ earthquakes (with epicenters on mainland-1993 & 2023), Jamaica also recorded a magnitude 5+ in 1988? — Our scouring of literature ( Ahmad, 2001; Wiggins-Grandison, 2005) highlighted some interesting findings. When we combined their findings with ours, (surface earthquake expression via Google Terrain & 1961 Aerial Photos), what we saw was scientifically interesting.
