Windsor Spring-Gas Seep, Jamaica
Windsor Spring (Firewater) is a relatively popular tourist attraction. Geologic & chemical analysis has confirmed that the gas (fuel) Seep is predominantly methane (natural gas). Though this natural gas seep has been declared as non-commercial, it has been declared that this seep is indicative of an active petroleum system underground. Similarly the evidence of this seep is a marker for offshore hydrocarbon exploration, for potential -actual commercial quantities.
