The Brand Value of Jamaica
The Brand value of Jamaica through it’s music, language, food & people is well developed & strong. The touristic sales and brand recognition of Jamaica’s Geo-value, through its story based on origin (of landscapes), as an example however, is relatively low (GDP percentage) & fragmented (industry). This reality is partly as a result of the shortage of students (secondary-tertiary) education, in the area of Geo-Tourism.
In this video (recorded presentation to Undergraduate Geoscience students), with the sharing of our experience, we discuss the gap of Geo-Tourism within Jamaica’s context; in addition to:
